As a part of my presentation on the national conference for Norwegian hospitals’ PR managers, I wanted to show examples of how patients can use social media in coping with their diagnosis and everyday life.
Lauren Parrott has Multiple Sclerosis and has posted personal videos on YouTube for almost two years. Her goal is to share her experiences in order to help other people coping with MS.
I sent Lauren my questions, and she made this video in reply:

Sharing, be it on Youtube or other locations, is such a comfort for us all. I will say, your videos were the first I saw from another person with MS, and I could relate to what you were explaining. It made me feel less scared and helped me to come to terms.
